About Me

I'm a French computer science engineer, having graduated from Enseirb - Matmeca in Bordeaux. Over time, I've honed my skills in back-end development, particularly in Ruby on Rails, while also having a solid understanding of Python, PHP, DevOps, front-end technologies, and several other programming languages. Currently, I'm delving into Elixir through self-study, aiming to expand my expertise further, possibly through freelance projects in the future.

I aim to act as an engineer, not just a developer. I'm skilled at planning, analyzing, advising, and communicating with teams to save time and money. I can take charge of a project or part of it on my own.

My experiences were mostly in a start-up environment and I keep a start-up mind. I am attracted by innovation, new technologies and code/product quality. I seek freelance and remote opportunities, but i am willing to occasionally have to come back to the company if necessary.

Personal Hobbies

Photography

A classic but solid one. I have been doing photography for several years now. Mostly during travels. I am not a professional but I try to improve myself when I find the time and the inspiration.

Travels

During my years of study, I was lucky enough to travel extensively. Whether it was through the Erasmus program, internships, or leisure activities like photography or scuba diving, I've had the chance to explore diverse cultures. I'm fascinated by the differences between regions of the globe, which is why I prefer working in English-speaking multinational teams over local ones. Looking ahead, I'm eager to continue traveling, and this desire also influenced my decision to pursue freelance work.

Fine food and cooking

As trivial as it looks. I also discovered a passion for food culture during my travels and I enjoy cooking dishes from different parts of the globe or discover new spices and local specialities during my travel. I am always looking for speciality shops with fine ingredients and products. I like to learn and share with others.

Innovation

I am not really a "tech addict", following every news about programming languages or libraries updates but I'm always intrigued by what the future holds. From robotics to augmented reality, transhumanism, and breakthroughs in science and biology, I'm fascinated by the possibilities. That's why I've always gravitated towards startups and am drawn to innovative and forward-thinking projects.
